It was a great pleasure to welcome John Eriksson, Director General of Euro-BioImaging, in Vienna for the Austrian BioImaging/CMI Strategy Meeting 2023.

Together with our shareholders (Medizinische Universität Wien, Vienna Biocenter Core Facilities GmbH, Technische Universität Wien, Vetmeduni, Universität Wien, and VRVis Zentrum für Virtual Reality und Visualisierung Forschungs-GmbH), Hemma Bauer from the 🇦🇹 Federal Ministry of Education, Science and Research (BMBWF) and Manfred Halver from the FFG Österreichische Forschungsförderungsgesellschaft mbH, we discussed about the long-term strategy for research infrastructures providing access to biological and pre-clinical #imaging in 🇪🇺 and 🇦🇹. Also, how Austrian BioImaging/CMI can move to the strategic operation and long-term sustainability as well as strengthen its cooperation with Euro-BioImaging in the upcoming European Horizon programs.
